![]() ![]() Instruction Manual and User Guide for Fanuc. ![]() Machine lock program protect chucking feedrate override rapid override incremental feed emergency stop mode. The post processor section on the forum is also a good resource.Cnc program manu al puma 450. I recommend getting familiar with the post processor system: The capabilities of the post processor system have also move on a bit since these post processors were produced. The other main difference between these two posts, the 'Fanuc' post contains the '%' symbol in the header and footer for serial links. The 'Fanuc DK' post was kindly provided by a CamBam user and was customised for a Mori Seiki with Fanuc controls and an automatic tool changer, so the header and tool change sections are geared to that. ![]() Particularly with regard to tool changes. The post processor labelled just 'Fanuc' is the original one, intended to produce generic Fanuc gcode.Īs Fanuc controllers can be used on a variety of machines, invariably the post post processor will been to be customised to suit the machine configuration. ![]() Just adding what I know, which isn't a lot at the moment. And the properties tied to the icon don't give me any clue either. Does any of this help? I seem to be unable to access a 'about' screen from anywhere within the software. The yellow info bar across the top of the screen once it's open says, "Fanuc yadda yadda, HSSB type 2. When I start the machine up, the icon says, "winBOP32" and the splash screen says, " FANUC Open CNC Basic Operating Package 1". I have trolled the forums and all I can say is, "WOW!" Not only are you folks smart, but you suffer us fools gladly. Having a little trouble with getting the z-axis to read correctly, but that is a topic for a 'nother day. I have generated a test file from CB, and after a little tweaking, I got it to cut some air. I can't afford the cost for some of the commercial programs out there and after discovering CamBam, why would I want to? This thing looks to be a monster. Is there a place in the software on my Komo VR510 that will tell me? I have just started to try and get this thing up and running ( auction buy ) and long story short, the original owner kept some of the important bits to actually run the thing. Can someone describe how the 2 fanuc controllers are different? and then, how do I determine which one I have on my machine? or, which one might be more appropriate for me. ![]()
